Just an idea from another thread.... Your one-time ultimate attendees group thrash.

List whichever top cars you'd like to see, all in one place, at one time. Whichever you can think of, or top 5 / 10?

    < working on mine now :) >

    Mine would be;

    - Bill's Ibiza, to see how close he could get to 200mph
    - The white Mk1 4wd 20vt that does low 10s 1/4s
    - The Mk1 Rocco 4wd 20vt that does low 10s 1/4s
    - Storm Developments' twin supercharged R36 engine Mk2 (just to see whether or not it would actually be any good with 600+bhp and fwd)
    - Dubweiser's Audi powered Mk1 Golf
    - The Reeves' Mk1 and Mk2 Golfs

And if they were ever finished

    - Daz's Corrado
    - Paul's Corrado

the twin engine vr6 mk3 turbo
    the dahlbach 5cyl turbo monster
    mr bannanas rado

or something slightly more simple, a group thrash of the various mk1/mk2/mk3/mk4/mk5 cars

    a separate division for monster/hybrid/trackcars

and then the top 2 or 3 from each section go together for a free for all mixing all ages, road and track and a couple monsters too.

Forgot about "Big Dub", and all the Dahlbach cars.

Sounds like a VW only version of TOTB

I was thinking along the lines of totb. But set numbers from each marque, ie 10 vw, 10 ford etc

Would be cool seeing them all battle it out.

Where's that renner mk2 in all this?

I would have a series of cars representing different aspects of VAG

Simon Bainbridge RS4-twin Turbo 4WD Carbon TT breaking sprint records left right and center currently - the pick of the bunch for me - unreal build quality and innovation - would leave anything else vag-based for dead IMO

Roger Banks Turbo S4 saloon - a Dialynx creation - current record breaking sprint and hillclimb car

    http://www.audihillclimb.net/

You would want a couple of sport quattro's so the pick of the bunch IMO are Mick Harriman's and Keith Edwards

Then Starship Badger....just to see if a front wheel drive car could crack 200mph

Got to have the Reeve's Mk1 (over the Mk2 for me) in its new 70's retro flared trousers

Andy Waites Mk1 Golf Haldex 20VT - 10 sec drag car on VW mechanicals (over Dubweiser golf which is a quattro.....) - be interesting to see if it will go round bends as quick as it goes in a straight line

An Ibiza F2 Evo 2 as the ultimate incarnation of the atmospheric Mk2/3 platform

Another atmo rally car to keep it honest - David Kynaston with his A3 quattro with 3L v6 atmo power

A Leon TDI BTCC / WTCC car

    A lemans audi

    a scirocco gt24

    a dakar tourag

    a F3 car

And nick's polo when he gets it finished.

    That'll do.

    Ave it

    Rob

in my opinion, and my opinion only, you have missed something from that list, and it will always stick in my mind, the year at Inters when HGP's MK4 R32 bi turbo came and raced Big DUB. Such as a 'stock' looking car, yet very very fast

That Audi is one of the best sounding cars I've heard, saw it in the Tour of Cornwall rally last year and it sounded even better than the 6R4s.

what about mark gunns 605bhp 4wd corrado 1.8t

I'm pretty sure someone said that hit 0-100 in a Gallardo LP560-4 embarrasing 6.7 seconds. Which is quite frankly insane for a car with a full interior.

Is that the near standard looking black one on OZ Superleggeras?

Forgot about that one as well, saw it last year at GTI Spring Festival, very, very quick car, think it got into the 10s that day.

i suppose since people have suggested Bill's seat ibiza it would be rude not to let him run his 400+hp Skoda Octavia which he tows the ibiza with..
the man is sick nearly 1000hp worth of 20VT in 2 cars!!

Call me boring if you like but I would love to see together some golden oldies - Mach I Mustang, DB6, 70's Bristol, XK150 Jag, 60's Cooper S, TranAm and see how they fared. I wouldn't say no to any (or all) of them!

    VAG stuff only I'm afraid...

I think Rob's list was a good one, to which I'll add a Berg Cup motor:

Next year, the Berg Cup's on my list. Time to go and see it.

    nice motor

Was reading some old mags last night and found an interesting snippet - Simon Bainbridge who now runs the TT above used to run a much modified carbon bodied S2 quat (seen here at harewood)

Now owned by Audi specialists QRSport in Chester - in white audi sport livery these days - they also have a very interesting 80 quat ex-french touring car
