just a word of warnin-, i put a pair o zimmerman X-drilled discs and a set of Pagid Fast Road pads last April.
By september the pads were completely down to the metal- no surface left at all. they were replaced with more o the same and now these are done too!
To top it off the discs have started cracking!
That's with normal road use too!

2 sets of Pagid FR pads and a pair of Zimmerman X-drilled discs eaten in 10 months normal use!

    Never again! [:x]

Yeah, I've got Zimmerman x-disc's and pagid pad's front and rear, they been on about 18 month's. In that time i've been through 2 set's of pad's! The disc's are getting real thin as well now! Again, this is just through normal road use! [:^(]

Did u bed them in properley? They should last longer than the OE pads with the same use cos they are harder. I think the cracking phenomenon on the drilled discs has been discussed before. I'd check it out before they crumble completely when u really need them. I'm running G88 tarox discs with them same pads and wear is fine despite the discs multiple slats and cheese grater action on them.

I got the x drilled zimmerman and pagid fast road pads as well.
Fitted about june last year, no problems yet and loads of material left on the pads.

Get ATE discs next time - and stick with the pagids, they are the best!!

Ran the same setup on Jetta for a few years..
Cracked in the end.. but they're drilled thats to be expected.
Pad consumption seems excessive... Heavy right foot?
    Last of the late brakers?
