Hi, I have almost gathered the majority of the parts I need for my ABF/Bike carbs into my MK1 Golf and now need to gather ALL the info I need to fit it over Chrimbo. I have some ZX9R Carbs (40mm) Keihin's as shown below. Firstly, can someone point out the hoses Ive numbered please, I'm pretty sure I know two but need confirmation and the best way to run fuel lines. Secondly, does anyone have any pic's/info on how to hookup the throttle/choke cables and which cables would be best please?
A=breathers leave these open. B=hot water run to stop carb icing. some have these some dont. connect it to the return pipe from the top of the rad to the expansion bottle if you want to run them. C= fuel pipes. as for the cable i used a standard 16v item and made it fit. you'l need to fab a bracket to hold the end of the cable tho.
