Well my 1.3 speedo cable turned up last week [:D]

No more using the speedo app on my iphone lol That was interesting lol

I'll be swapping the driveshaft over tomorrow to, as the noise is really getting worse, and I haven't been driving it much due to this.
Got some bits and pieces going on mine from the 16v to, which will neaten things up.

Mk4 is going in for a overhaul at the end of the month (cambelt, bushes, ect ect) so the MK2 will be my daily for a while.

Roll on next Sunday's Westside show [:D]

Swapped the driveshaft over today to see if it would cure the clicking noise (thread in chassis section), but unfortunately it didn't !!

I thinking it must be the wheel bearings or something to do with the brakes, so I'll try and sort this out this week.

Might even try one of the hubs off the 16v to see it that cures it ?

Also decided to remove the 16v engine too. A great cure for a hangover trust me lol

Nearly done with that mk2 now.

Not much left to remove now really.

Collecting some winter wheels for the mk2 tomorrow morning. ;)

Not revealing what they are yet, but I'm in desperate need of a set so I can rebuild and refurbish the RM's

Got loads of bits and pieces to do on the mk2 which will keep me busy.

    It just doesn't stop ;)

For every job that comes off the list, another two get added hey. Mk2 20vt owner through and through. I've had 8 years of constantly evolving ownership from 1.3c to 9a to abf to 20vt. Along with general maintenance and all the other mods, it's a lot of time spent, as most of you will know!

They have some slight curbing, but nothing major. And seeing I paid nearly nothing for them, I had to have them.

Just need a set of decent tyres on them now, and balanced.

I can now start the horrible task of splitting down my BBS RM's and get them looking fresh again.

    :)

I've always wanted a set of G60 steels, and now have some

Collected these this morning from a fellow forum member.

Tyres are legal on them, so the BBS RM's will be coming off soon for a rebuild.

Not sure what to do with the BBS's though ? Thinking of going back to standard dishes ? Not sure yet though ?

I've still got a list as long as my arm of bits and pieces to sort out on the Mk2. Now that winter is approaching, I best start getting a few things done ;)

Not been able to do much on the mk2 this weekend due to the weather.

BBS's will be coming off soon, and the G60's will take their place. Not sure what to do with the Team Dynamics yet ?

I did win this on eBay the other night though -

A new genuine 16v fuel pump to replace the digi one which is running the 1.8T :)

Didn't know it wasn't a straight swap into my digi fuel pump housing so I'm on the look out for one.

Managed to get it out last week for a long blast. Its going to come off the road soon for some upgrades and TLC.

Got a little pic while I was out in it

Will keep you all updated
