    Blonde = feminine

    Blond = masculine

Therefore, you have made yet another grammatical error. Any more? [:D]

    You're.

There is nothing wrong with using past and present tense in that particular sentence. :)

    Chortle!
I thought I was a grammar bore (as in went to Grammar school and am a grammar nerd too).
Didn't realise that the English word "blond" could be masculine or feminine - A new thing learned today!

Back to Riley - Sounds nasty.
Hope you bounce back soon. It'll be a tricky one though.

Well, cant say much that hasnt been said before....

but best way i found of getting through the first few months of splitting from my ex.. (We split because she sent me a txt when half asleep in the morning that was meant for the guy she was seeing behind my back. ouch.)

was the idea, "dont get upset, get angry". much better feeling, as long as you dont act on it that much, i admit i was a c**t to her after, nothing like what she deserved. [:x]

Good songs to listen to in that mood,

Puddle of Mudd - She Hates Me
Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff & Nookie
Hatebreed - I will be Heard
    Eminem - Kim
    slipknot
    D12 - Fight Music

    and anything that ROCKS!. lol

regards mate, we are all here. and at least you can go for a blast in a dub. (i miss my jetta [:^(] )

another way i used to look at it was, "At least if my car broke down on me i can beat the poo out of that and not get done for domestic violence" ;)

    take care

    Al.

    Rough, TBH

If she's capable of dumping you by text after 10 years then she's capable of doing it again. A weak, pathetic way out.

    Repeat the holy triad....

I don't know what I saw in her
I don't know why I went out with her
And I'm well shot of her!!

    ...until you believe it.

In the meantime, Dr Mike prescribes 'Reptile' by NIN.

Incidentally, internet dating is the new rock'n'roll - have a break...have a beer or two, and get yourself back out there.

If you leave it for years and don't try to find someone else, you'll only look back on it as wasted time - trust me on that one...

BTW...blond is American, blonde is the British/English spelling.

There are no different endings to adjectives according to gender in English [:-B]

Sorry but you couldn't be any more wrong.

The words blond and blonde come from the French language... Blond (without the e) is used to describe males, mixed gender, or uncertain gender. Blonde refers to women or female gender.

In modern use, blond is sometimes used for female as well as male, but blonde is preferred for female.

    Thankyou and goodnight. :)

Correct B'locks - Blond / Blonde is French too, where adjectives do have gender specific endings... they also have gender specific words for 'the' and 'a', which we don't use either.

Anyway, let's not hijack Riley's thread further...

Yes I know that, I can speak French thanks... but you're wrong in saying that we don't use the masculine and feminine for blond/blonde...it's just not as strict in modern English .....

my simple and only point is that the idea that blond is American and blonde is the British/English spelling is utter toss. [:D]
