ABF is tall block isnt it? thought you wanted a short block for mk1?

personally if i was going to go ahead and build a forced induction 16v do the following:

first off i'd supercharge it and not turbo, just for the rareity (sp) of the conversion, for the block and head i would use a 3a block with kr head - std kr cams will do fine!, either audi s2 inlet or scirocco 16v inlet, 4 branch exhaust manifold but remember its a g60 not turbo, use a golf g60 non-a/c intercooler, and use digi1 as the management, should see easy over 200 bhp,

but im not, im building a 200bhp normally aspirated 8v

I Thought about a G60 But Turbo seems a better option in my case was thinking GTD Intercooler Digi1 Managment 2.0 Block KR Head. The Required Pistons to lower CR.
STD Inlet as havent looked at them much.

    Custom Made Exauhst Manifold

mate putting a 16v head on 8v bottom end gives a CR of 7.88 and that
without new pistons or spacer plates.

    look at this
