ill have to have another look at the prints when i get in n ill post up.

its just ive heard of other mk1's pushing about 250 lb/ft torque so i just thought mine was a little half arsed!

dont spose anyone knows the standard torque output of and audi 6a, just so i can compare. i cant find the info anywhere? came out of an audi 80.

    250lbs/ft?

    Only with a tweaked 1.8T or a diesel!

A decent 2L 16v should be anywhere from 140-150lbs/ft peak.

A stock 1.8 16v is rated at 139bhp/124lbs/ft for reference

    6A engines develop 130ish lbft@ 4200rpm and 135-140bhp@5800rpm
    Optimised 140lbft@4300rpm and around 150bhp@6000rpm
The smaller KR motor with more aggressive camshafts
    124lbft@4600rpm and 139bhp@6100rpm.
    Optimised 130lbft@5700rpm and 150bhp@6600rpm

A 6A engine with a KR inlet cam and fettled will shift the torque+ 1000rpm from std peak to average around 145lbft@5400rpm and up to 170bhp@6500rpm.
