Actually i'd seriously buy one. One of my mates has just bought an R400. BUT, i realistically don't have the time to justify what is essentially a car for the track at the moment. I bought the bike this year as a weekend toy, and its only done 900miles this year. A car like that would probably get used the same amount and would be an utter waste. Perhaps when i stop working offshore. . . .
i had a go of one of these which had 702bhp and that was NUTS!, it would leap off the tarmac every time i hit the throttle, you would see a set of lights about to go red, floor it and the next thing you know it was about a mile pass the lights one of the craziest things i have ever driven.
As expected, there is no discount to be had on the R models. Was very close to puttin the deposit on the rocco today, but couldn't do it, 28k, and probably wouldnt see the car til April/May!
X2. I cant get my head round it, you obviously dont want performance so why not just get a 'nice' car.
EASY!! Stick with VAG and get yourself a collectors' item: Golf Mk2 Limited, only 70 were handbuilt, this is no. 68. Comes with a G60 engine on 4/wheel drive. The auction is still under 25k, so be quick! http://cgi.ebay.de/VW-GOLF-2-LIMITE...dZViewItemQQptZAutomobile?hash=item56367041bc
err, have you ever been in one? they aren't even that quick. you need your head looking at if you want to waste your coin on crap like that.
Thats taking the ****. Rare but not worth that. There was one selling in UK for about 8k so feck knows there they get that figure from.
Is that what they're meant to look like? I remember NNV looks different.... Would rather spend 25k on turbo'd R32 Mk2 to be quite honest. Won't be able to corner for s**t but it will burn through tires like silly.
Well, bought a run around for the time being from a mate at work who was needing to shift quickly 57plate Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI Quattro S-line Special Edition Quite the Audi option shopping list Bit of a bargain i think, 12kmiles, 4 new tyres, very clean, should be able to run for a few months and get shot without losing much if anything!
It is? dragging 4 wheel drive, in an estate car that is just going to commute is good only for wasting more fuel than you need to
