you do realise that technically anything with a boot, like a jetta is not a 5 door but a four door!

just thought i would be pedantic

    my pride and joy!

i have had my white 5door mk2 for 2monthes now and i love it!it was cheaper than a 3 door aswell! is there a myth that 5door golf are stiffer than 3door golfs?

The best thing about a 5door is when you go clubbing you don't have to move your seat to get people in or out & you know how hard that can be if you've been to a storm allnighter

Also easier for shoving the dog in the back, too.

My car really isn't a picture at the moment, but when I bought it in May 96 it had to be 5 door and small bumper. My mate also bought a 5 door a year or two later.

Shouldn't there be a small bumper massive too? Bit of an oxymoron there, but still.
