I've only been to the pod once in it, GTI Festival this year.

The orange one was taken off the road due to a blown gearbox, which got rebuilt, then I decided to repaint the engine bay, which turned into a plan to smooth it (why, I'll never know). then a crack in the rear qurter started bugging me, so I hacked into it, it was full of filler. I dug it all out and cut the rear panel off, and found a wrecked boot floor behind it. so I cut that out too and fitted a rallye one, and a rallye tunnel, and a new rear panel. I was going to go for wider steel arches and all sorts, but I got bored with it and I didn't want to pay another 200 for apaint job, so I built the black one to thrash about in with the new gearbox and had more fun in 3 months than I had in the orange one in 3 years. Now I'm selling both and buying a corrado to bolt all the goodies to instead as I wanted one of those in the first place! pics of that should be up on saturday if all goes to plan.

aven't got any pics of the jetta sycnro for some reason.

I'm strangely attracted to the Derby.

The Corrado will be fun - I loved mine.

LOL at Phat, now that's dedication for ya!
How you have the heart to start all over again after producing one of the best Mk2's I've ever seen in the flesh, and then dismantling is beyond me! :o
But good luck witht he Corrado mate, hope it all works out for ya! I look forward to seeing it at a Track/Strip near me soon! Tried to get to say hello at GTI Festival, but was so busy queing on the strip and avoiding the rain burst that didn't manage it! Although got some cool footage of it going up the strip, infact think I managed to get almost every awesome sounding VR from that day on tape, lol (I'll never tire of that sound!)

Thats where I saw it then.

    Thats a shame!
A mates fiesta rst just turned out to be like that, but he never had the will power to re-build it.

    Gotta give you credit there!
Shame to see such a car go like that!

Look forward to seeing the Raddo!

Orange one will always be remembered I reckon....can't believe it was never featured! One of the best Mk2's in the VW scene - certainly the car that made me go for 9x16s!!!!!
    Nice one, Phats! ;)

Look forward to seeinfg the 'Rado... [:^:]

I had a good look at the Sh1tbox at the e38 show, excellent stuff! It makes such a change to see something so ratty after looking at endless shiney, chromed, big wheeled, bass pumping glossy motors!
