just a small update as my mk2 still isn't with me[:x] but I have got some new bits for it lol I have been after a set of mk2 recaro's for awhile but I just couldn't get myself to shell out hundreds of 's for seats that looked like they came from a scrap yard. A friend of mine here in the states has a set for a long time that I've been after. Well I finally got them this weekend along with this mk1 project
    [IMG]
The seats are Helios power recaro's
    [IMG]
They have some fag burns and the webbing needs to be replaced but I only paid about 250 for the shell, 3 sets of wheels, the recaro's and a hand full of other goodies. I need to build a wiring harness for the seats and then I'll put them in...if my car ever gets here that is

I found out my car didn't leave England until 17 July, which was a month late.[:x] Now it's either sitting on the container ship at Houston port awaiting customs or it's waiting to be put on a lorry to be delivered to St. Louis. As of right now it's 48 days late. [:x] I'll keep you guys unto date

you could raise the money by selling US spec items on here.

I could use a bora / jetta front rubbing strip and some GLI rear lights. ;)

I'll see what I can find. Do you have a picture of the front rubbing strips?

I might be able to do something like this ;)
