Would there be such a problem with him wanting to attempt to make money on the car if he actually described it truthfully regarding who carried out the conversion work?

The first time it could only be considered misleading, an error on his part. This time it has to be deliberate, considering all the hassle last time. The guy must be plain stupid.

I think the kid under estimates the veedub scene and the fact that most people know each other or atleast know of each other which means that cars and the history behind them are common knowledge....

Yup, if you read this months Volkswagen Motoring Magazine, my old G40 has been featured, it is 95% the same as when I sold it but the feature makes out the new owner did all the work [:x] [xx(]

    Absolutely

and again to set facts straight ........

That car had its 6 speed box in when I had it mapped (it did not have the new intercooler or the new exhaust)

THAT CAR WILL NOT DO 160MPH IT ONLY JUST GETS TO 153MPH

I was happy to let it go for 5k as I know you do not make money on conversions like that we only 'lost' approx 2k ........... but 2k depreciation over 3 yrs (and 30k doesnt seem to bad imo)

no you can't. unless your version of "nice" is completely different to mine.....

you can't get a decent VR for under 4000, and i dread to think what a 1500 corrado looks like.....

and amy's old corrado is more then "nice", it was absolutely mint last time i saw it. probably the cleanest nugget yellow one I've ever seen in fact.
