    well happy with my set, top value for money, got quoted 500 quid ish for a48,s even more for dunlops

    Thing is tho G when this fabled car finally rolls onto track, it will be 2089 & cars will run on fruit pastels & petrol will be long extinct & to cap it all we will both be long dead.:lol:

    So all in all its not something that overly concerns me ;)

    what are these R888s like in the wet?

    Alright, until you hit a deep puddle.

    We did quite a few wet laps of the 'ring in IanVs car on them, on just a moist track they're quite good, but as I say standing water is scary as fook.

    i take it you could put extra cuts in them tho to make a set of wets?

    yeh but then you would have a set of wets and another set for moderately dry?

    I have used R881s for a few years and find that Toyo only list 195/55/15s.
    I notice in this thread that you have 195/50s which would suit my application a lot better.
    Any ideas ??????I recently looked on the Toyo website to find nothing had changed re the size.

    i'm guessing the R888s are the new version of your r881s.. the R888s that we get are available in 195/50 15.
