Sorry to do this to you lot but!

S reg Audi a3 5 door in silver,1.6, 70,000m 1 owner from new, not mint but by no means scruffy. Not modified in any way.

Whaddya reckon? The g/f has been offered one for what seems like a very low price!

Trade in was 3k just a few months back.

A sensible seller would ask 3.5k.

She must have had it valued, so why so little?

Even a trader would pay 2k+

 

wouldn't walk just yet!! but i would take a very, very, very close look at it!! if its a gooddun - bargain, if its a baddun - its an audi so will cost you!!

as said just pay attention to it, could be a bargin due to needing money soon and being your dads client tbh

 

i seen them go for 1600-2500 . if its not mint then lower end.

 

Yeah I'm very sceptical, haven't actually seen it myself. BUt I'll have a good look at it when I can, it's possible that it's largely down to being a client as said but I'll keep all this in mind.

If I had seen one for that price when I was looking for a new car, I wouldn't have bought my Golf TDi - I'd be in an Audi A3.

If it doesn't work... there's a little car which gives you a lot more for a cheaper price... namely a boot...

It's called an A4.

Just been paid out 1800 quid for a P reg 1.8 A3 with 130000 miles

average condition

 

well my 1.8T sport with ALL the toys, leather etc. T reg, 80k miles, mint condition, went for 5k and only just, most people wanted it for 4k so i would say hers cant be worth more than 2.5k

 

Little update, she had the reg laying around on a bit of paper for the a3 at home so thought I'd use the rac checker to have a quick look.

Hmm 1.8T.

She now wants 2k for it and it has a dink somewhere on it (sorry to be so vague, even the gf hasn't see it yet).

Now for a 1 owner, fsh and 70k I think she'd be mad not to get it. Just need her to cough up for a vehicle check

Plus, if its an S reg, you may have just missed the pikey dash and have the upgraded one
