Ok mate, would be the best option but need the car fixed quickly as its my daily, Would you say 1mm is a lot and there is the smallest amount of axial play too, did you manage to have a look at my logs ? Cheers

Could a missfire problem cause limp mode ? As i keep getting a missfire fault code when scanning.

Had new coils and plugs so could it be the ignition controle module, any good ways to test it ?

NOTE: everyones seems to be on their air box but mine isnt, so is it built in to the ecu etc ?

    Thanks folks:y:]

I thought it was the earlier 20v's like AGU's that had them!
For the missfire, take a look at the wiring to the coils on the cylinder head, they always seem to suffer on this engine code compared to others i've seen. The insulation breaks away from the wires, make sure they are not touching each other or the cam cover,a coating in a plastic/heat proof barrier might help too if it can be done ok (forget what i used now)

Fitted the new harness in the weekend, not the best of jobs I've done on this car so far lol, still getting a miss fire[:s] just hoping its not engine related ie valves etc, will try swapping injectors about now.

    Injectors

Does anyone think it would be worthwhile up grading my injectors ? They are the standard units and not sure if they are up to the job, note i fitted a 4 bar fpr and it's running a lot better with more torque low end, cheers.

Will the lambda and wide band sensors be screwed after around 1000miles of oil contaminating them ?

Turbo went so leads me to think this.

Car goes fine then doesn't then does, noticed if I stop switch engine off then back on its hitting full boost but will eventually stop boosting past 5psi

It's had new ones lol, I'm completely stuck with this one, anyone know if the cam or crank sensors could cause this ?

What fault codes do you get?
Back to basics, its fuel & spark,so which one is causing it? step by step rule them out.
I know you've changed lots of things but missing on all 4 cylinders is quite major and with the coil /P's changed (usual susp) it must be further down the line,a sensor or the wiring to the coils.
I've just change the injector wiring loom on my PD engine today through a misfire on No1 injec, fault codes gave me that and i googled the codes=which in turn solved the problem after a little looking.

No fault codes to do with running related just the missfire count through measuring blocks, I'm completely stumped with this, I'm thinking with cam or crank sensor but would this cause the miss ?
