boot builds

    you have seen most of mine Tim.

    Usually the best way to figure out where to hide wires etc is to have a go at building it and all will become clear.

    I know you have been doing alot of planning etc (did you put pen to paper like I suggested?) but have you actually started working anything into the boot. Lay your equipment out in theboot where you want it and visulise now only how it will look but how you will get it together.

    Doesnt help I know, but just have a go whats the cost of a sheet of MDF 15? so you dont have anything to loose. [8D]

    been a while since I bought any (I use Fibre glass now, which is slightly more expensive:( )

    The heavy 3/4" stuff was around 15 last time I bought it for a 7 x 4 sheet. The smaller 1/4" stuff is usually cheaper but I personally wouldnt use this to build a false floor as it wont hold the weight.

    Really though if your not going to use any fibreglass at all then you are going to need both thicknesses anyway.

    i have been drawing out afew designs, but its hard to visualise,

    yeh good one sicko2k you f**king idiot, he was asking for help not the resident spastic to give some bullsh*t response.

    Good luck with your build dude, i wish i'd done one in mine to save it all being ripped out + stolen! Remember to post pics when its done!
