That's a bit silly Paul, that's like saying i could do anything as long as no-one "at the time" got hurt? The guy was taking the p*ss so deserves as much as he get's & people would be screaming IF he had hit someone. We have to draw the line somewhere & i think he left that a mile behind.
you can actually do what you want, whenever you want you know. you can kill people, kidnap them, anything you like really. just so long as you know you will get punished if you get caught. i speed every single day, been banned for it, never killed or hurt a soul from it. do i deserve to go to prison?
That's what the laws are there for sorry Paul & i speed all the time but i know the price if i get caught but others have killed people through speed so there has to be laws otherwise it would just be chaos. Does an old granny deserve to go to prison for refusing to pay her poll tax?
What a joke. Compare with the scot 4years ago who was caught@153mph........6months imprisonment. Great judicial consistency. Just as well as given him a slap on the wrist and a gold watch. He'll be out after a month.
