Good to see a couple of laps, just to refresh the memory, i was actually just mugging up on the circuit guide after dinner. ;)

You're right about the clio driver being lucky at the hairpin, thats a horrible place to have an off, absolutely no run off. Didn't think the 106 driver was really a dick TBH, not the smoothest or the best lines but only mucking about like me and tubs were last summer. :)

Was good to watch the Clio moving about and three wheeling I thought! But not sure Cadwell is the place for such antics, not much room if you get it wrong, like he nearly found out!

106 driver - I just thought he was a bit close to the slower cars[:s][:$]

I wish they'd move that cone at Charlies 2 [xx(]

Just watched it again, and the clio's lines and aggression on turn in are pretty bad TBH, but top marks for commitment, it's amazing how much the car is moving around, i'm guessing it's on standardish suspension. Looks good fun though.

I can't wait til saturday now, i'm gagging to get out there. I've not driven the golf on track since Zandvoort i think, which was months ago. Also not done Cadwell with the new lump, box or diff, so should be a good day out. [:D]

Yep, looking forward to it [:D]

My video camera mount plunger sucky pad thing is buggered and it falls off the screen [:^(]

I don't think in all honesty you're meant to show vids from Cadwell (Or any other MSV track) on the net..

To run a camera you have to sign a disclaimer that states no public distribution of footage taken, blah de blah [:s]

Oh yeah, i remember you mentioning that in the past.

I don't know where you live but I've got a homemade camera mount that fits onto a standard GTI passenger seat and positions the camera in the centre of the car. You're more than welcome to borrow it if you want?

What's with the rapid steering inputs?

Good to see the obligatory 'yank the steering around the corner' technique in full effect.

Big gonads in the Clio, lines looked quite good (I thought?) apart from a couple of over speeds leading to the tyres becoming the brakes. I wouldn't say it was dangerous, he pretty much hit an apex on every corner but was let down only slightly by the suspension and speed I would say. Great viewing to see the movement of the Clio like that.

Looks like 106 blokey forgot his braking point when he overtook Clio man, showing off a bit there. ;)

Sod that creeking in the 106 as well. [:s]

"Kev (106) is probably just a pro driver" yep. [:|]

    Best one...

"that looks like he isnt really trying that hard compared to some videos he has sent me",

What? You mean he can actually rip the tyre clean off when he is really trying hard?

    at baldy comment.

The guy in the 106 has some big hairy ones treating the 106 like that.
Steering inputs like that in our Rallye usually end in a haze of
opposite lock. Lift off oversteer is horrendous too, so I think he
either knows the circuit very well, or is just very lucky. Our one
doesn't creek like that. I've never seen the point in putting uprated
suspension on it because it's so well balanced from the factory...
that's probs what the creaking is. It'll be caged to I suspect.

    Troll? [Looks around] Where Gary?:p

Shouldn't have to, as you should have pulled over on the designated straights, on the correct side, slow down and let the faster car through safely. ;) :p

Dont you listen to the briefings. [:|]

    :p [:$]

(and dont indicate on the side you want a car to pass you on, as it looks as though you are coming back across the track [:x] )
