corrado engine, golf box?

    No offence but now you're plainng to go 2ltr? you were moaning about having to replace a clutch the other day ffs!!

    because now i've found him a suitable corrado engine, not far from where he lives!

    good point, he semmed like he might know what he's doing!

    orrr i could buy the engine and swap the heads, probably still work out cheaper than fixing mine.. we'll see

    how would it? if a skim costs 25+ how much is the engine 25? you'de still need a head gasket and cambelt so on and so forth, although a 2.0ltr would be fun [:D]

    engine 100

    fix mine- gaskets, belts etc 65, skim 25, new studs bolts etc 10, more tools i need 30+( ?) plus 10 on tools alreaddy

    mine was somewhere in the region of 100 for parts...hate vr6's now!

    LOL, Glad i don't have a VR6 or 16v! I'll stick to my 8v's easy and cheap! :lol:
