you can buy a new filler neck from GSF for about 50-60 but he better idea is to buy the one for the tintop Mk1 also form GSF which is half the price and is a bit longer so you just cut the extra bit off.

am i best off replacing window seal when doing the hood/window frame?

YES....as we found out, the old seal was naff after being removed, and so full of crap......
if youre gonna do the job do it properly, not half measures......GPC again. All the details are on our site......
