    Yeah I did...many years ago.
I forgot I had it (maybe I just lost it) and found it again last week...so decided to crack on with test fitting.

I bought it when the exchange rate was pretty good, but can't remember what I paid....I see they are $175 for the teflon edged scraper now.

Maybe, Mr H, you could do a baffle sump and crank scraper package

    Mind reader! lol!

That is indeed the next evolution.... but I need to dyno it first.

    Now yr talking !

It does make you wonder if scrapers were tried and the best overall compromise was found to be a windage tray.... hmm... we'll have to see what some dyno testing show's... ;)

There is no G force on a dyno though, that would encourage sloshing.

Very true... but there is a lot of oil drawn up around the crank by the wirlwind it causes.... it wll be interesting to see the true difference...if any... between an open sump, the common windage tray, and a scraper.

I think the most difference would be with the windage tray, and on the road, the oil quality will be better too as in not full of micro air bubbles.

Scraper and windage tray would show a power gain(small but there) but Id imagine you would need to induce sloshing(certainly with the tray) for them to show the full effect on both tests.
