    na, you can spray anything.

one of the benefits to spraying is that if the wheels do take a hit, the paint doesnt crack like powdercoat can. but its swings and roundabouts from what i understand

Wheels have been blasted with a nice fine grit and are silky smooth. Etch primed and ready to go off for paint.

This photo really set me along the hyper silver route and not the powder with flake that thay had before.

well... my talents know no bounds in that i drove the Golf to my parents today, it pissed down and the rear windows are 100% dry on the inside and the seal has performed as expected.

One less thing to worry about leaking on the mk2 now, nice work.

Finished off the loom for the pop out windows, its a fused, ignition live triggered relayed one, so behaves exactly as the front windows and won't drain the battery

That's really cool. I like the idea if the 2nd set of window switches.

    How waterproof are the pop-outs?

So, I’ve got a set of these coming from dodgy.

I’d love one of them wiring kits you’ve made up.
Any pictures of the inside? How you’ve sorted the C pillar trim etc?

    looks wicked [:D]

Apart from the wheels, they’re just meh ;)

i'll get some phots of it with the trim on... i had to bodge the first one a bit but the second went on well.. i'll ultimately order 2 new trims and get it perfect on them.

Wiring is easy, i'll do a write up on whats required and tag you. Simple loom, just a relay and fuse to switches which can be easily replicated

I probably have 2/3 sets spare in the shed.

I’d rather you just make it for me because I’m a useless snowflake but thanks [:D]
