Got mine from Venom, 50 odd quid, it's an FK one, very good quality and an excellent fit too!

 

50 sounds good......i've heard FK are meant to look great. Does anyone know if the ECP ones are any good before i go down and see it? that one is about 45 so should i just get the FK instead? hmmmmm

 

Well I'm well chuffed with mine and I've only had the bottom bar colour coded, left the 2 slats black and the quality's really good. Bonrath are good but more expensive and I'd have had to have sanded the "by bonrath" off the lower part before I had it sprayed, looks w@nk IMHO

mines got an ecp.
spot on fit and the bottom half is metal, very good quality.
only prob i had is they sent mine up from another store and it got damaged in transit(not their fault) but they got me another one the next day

just got one i'm afriad d4ave......sounds like 'driver's. Got it from ECP and coz it wasnt in a box he sold it for 20! bargin.

What do you use to paint these things? where sells the right paint etc?

yeah...and wax gets stuck in it. if i'm right the fk ones are identical but without the bonrath badge! where as the cheap ones are all one piece (as opposed to having the slats separate from the bottom bar) and look 'cheap' (no offence meant to anyone who has one). mine had a bonrath on when i bought it, but i'd go fo an fk if i was buyin one now.

 

nope- my "cheap" one is 2 parts and would have it over fk anytime as i don't trust fk brand yet- very good quality.

best paint is from VW.. Ive tried Halfords its cheaper but it isnt
as good

 

Driver Ive had a few things made by FK and havent had any
trouble or heard anyone else complain... why dont you trust
them?

 

just saying i bought one from ECP.....got it cheap. And it sounds like the one 'driver' has.

 

that was at a show so was probably ex VAT

 

does anyone know if you can buy paint from Halfrauds to spray it?
