dj yoda is ok however im always of the mindset that if you cant do it live its cheating theres not a cat in hells chance he or even me and all my mates coluld do that live (however it is the art of cut and paste so you get what you pay for) dj shadow has his moments but is a bit boring and many of his sets contain 30 mins of noise (no joke+ z trip is shadows mate so hes much of the same) dj format is cool (him and abs make a great live show). Skratch djing is a funny game so much of it can sound pish (kid koala carpal tunnel syndrome) but check out dilated peoples/beat junkies/ISP for a more musical baet juggly sound. RJD2's deadringer is good smoke & Mirrors is amazing, not a big fan of the 2nd one tho.

Kid Koala is a prodigy, by far the most imaginative turntablist out there and technically few people come close[:^:]

off the top of my head dj dexta is very creative as is dj craze and dj noize, hell i'l scratch cockrel sounds for an hour if you want if that makes my mixtape the best in the world!
My point is that is the most unlistnable album i've ever bought (opinion)- if you go look at HHC with the DJ yoda mixtape interwiew he says his music is not background music you have to concentrate on it to get the best out of it. the diff between how to cut and paste vol 1 and carpal tunnel syndrome is cut and paste is very listnable. It takes more that some good cutting to make a great listnable album. However that doesent mean i'm calling kid coalas integrity into question so cheeeelll winston ;)

Got to agree with farquare here. My mates little brother DJ's hip-hop and is bloody good at it, but sometimes his beat juggling skills get right on my tits. Yes he is talented and it showcases how good he is, but boy does it trash the quality song he is doing it too.

I listened to that DJ Yoda when it was a recommended buy at Imperial records in Bristol but didn't buy it as it did my head in. Much prefer Beat Junkies vol. 5 or even a double CD mixed by Prime Cuts that the DJ adds bits to quality songs and mixes them together really well.
