drilled airbox

    ive put few holes in mine but mainly i cut out the side closet to the wing an removed the small plastic hole cover thingy which is on the wing if you understand that :lol:

    in the box should the flap always be covering the C A intake?
    when does it move over to cover the H A intake?
    is it just the force of the air?
    cz it looks to me like all it takes is HOT air?!

    if you're looking for power gains, spend some money, theres next to nothing to be gained from fidling with your airbox...

    i wasnt after getting power from it.
    like you said about the growl was after that.
    any clues on what happens with the flap?

    i had no flap previous owner must of removed it didnt bother me much its there so in the winter when is cold it draws in hot air decided it wasnt of much use pulled it out i put a 80mm hole on the engine side of it got some 80mm air duct pipe sealed it in the hole and ran it to behind the grill put some mesh over the pipe hole to stop big bugs and leaves getting sucked in and that worked fine. If you were that bothered about noise pipercross do a replacement air box made of foam its like an induction kits gains nothing but makes that growling chav corsa noise ha ha

    fookin hate corsas.
    pics would be immense.
    think im goin to take it out cz its always over the cold air intake and its quite a stiff spring mech!
    u should see what iv done tho.

    massacre.

    drilled airbox.
    plastic sheet.
    2ltr coke bottle.
    cardboard.
    side vents in wing.

    just seeing what goes!

    mate sounds like you went blue peter on it. not much to be gained with out spending unless your a machinist lol

    big style blue peter mate. just no yohgurt pots!
    am goin to machine summin from the shape i get from the plastic and cardboard hooked up to the wing.
    wont cost out so wtf?!
    will get some shiney stuff in it so.....
    oh well.
