Drove an R32 for the first time today...

    He's mentioned here before but my ageing 30 year old brain is a bit fuzzy these days.

    well i have to say the first time i drove my old mans M5 on the A3 i was a tad dissapointed. Until i reliased i was sitting it on the 155 limiter [:s]

    that why my rallye = bathtub with rock suspention, no sound proofing and 400hp will feel like warp 10

    Have to admit a bmw 330 diesel caught me off guard in the S4 (pre remap). From about 35 mph up to 80ish... neck and neck!

    He was probably returning 30 odd mpg where as I was getting <20. It only comes out at weekends and if I have to use it to get to work I get paid 40p a mile :p

    If I had to put my hand in my pocket for a daily commute of say over 30 miles, I wouldn't use the S4... Fun, but not cheap! However, I'd probably buy another mk2 golf 8v instead of a diesel. My last 2.0l 8v averaged 40+ mpg!!
