Fly by Wire - mk2

    i got that andy, but someone else had a thread stating that the master cylinder had an output for the clutch [:s]

    sorry for questioning your advice... you are the best

    Well i do have a hydraulic clutch setup sitting in the shed you know ;) :lol:

    Ah, its mine, part of my 20VT Conversion collection of parts :)

    Along with 2 02A gearbox's with the same ratios, but one with a 3.6 final drive and the other a 3.94, 2 cable shifters, a cable operated throttle body, some heat shielding etc etc

    Jus need the lump actually - sometime :)

    thats rather greedy of you to have 2 02A gearboxes!!

    Nah its ok

    I'll need to conduct some testing with each box to see which is best once i get a lump :)

    its the fact of being bothered mate!

    got enough stress with uni work and working at asda to deal with. Plus not having my motor to run around in doesn't help.

    Shall i go through a list of my problems? nah, you don't wana hear the rest....

    oh yeah, back to the gearbox! thanx for the tip. Will that be the same year of passat that i need the pedal box from?

    and can i use the gear selector and lines or do i need mk3 golf parts?

    Passats - the greatest source of parts for the MK2 pwner.

    Dont fit the wings very nice though :lol:
