so my 89 gl was lookin a lil worse for wear, no amount of suspension, wheels or engines were gonna make him look better... which left one option.... a new overcoat!!
i decided on inky blue, which isnt that original but is fit as f**k!! and so it begins...

LMAO theres always 1!! your are right tho, however a smooth handle change is on the way, so wouldve been time wasted tbh... 3 mins to mask a handle...

    :) Great job fella.

why did you mask the handles, side repeaters and that, quicker to remove than mask or were they being a bit of a pain?

you gonna be flatting it down and polishing it up?

no reason really, smooths handles on the way soon, plus, what if they dont work after?? lol in my experience there are a lot of things to go wrong or do wrong!! the side repeaters were just bein stubourn so i gave up!! lol

    speakin of flattin....

the amount is variable, primer depends on how much prep you gotta do, and the size of the area. i used about 1ltr to do 3 coats on all prep areas using a suction fed gun and airo 1k primer.
inky blue has poo covering power so i used an undercoat (2ltr) and then about 2.5 ltrs on top, using devilbliss gti gravity gun.
clear coat is the hard part so be carefull!! i used 3.5ltrs again in a devilbliss gun.
not alot of filler (lucky me!!)
3 rolls of 2" masking tape and various grades of sandpaper
total cost?? about 200 squid and lots of hours!!
well worth it remember the key is the prep
what colour is it now? n what ya changin too?
    glad you like too [:D]
