G60 Expert Wanted

Having now bought the G60 I've always wanted, I want to put it back to ALL original trim, inside and out.......not easy for me as, how do you know whats original or whats add on
This is my guess as to what is wrong......come on you experts, tell me whats it should be

Momo Steering Wheel
Add on Gear Knob
Wolfsberg Window Winders
Single Light Grill
Smoked Front Repeaters
Black VW Rear Badges

Any help would be grately appreciated

 

imo it would be

standard gti steering wheel...leather one on ed1
golfball know....leather if ed1
standard window winders
gti red line grille...or all black if ed1
orange side repeaters
chrome vw rear badge?

 

just to add, white front indicators if ed1

 

infact....it might have had g60 badges instead of repeaters? and wolfsburg badges if a ed1

 

Brilliant.........It has already got Wolfsburg side repeaters fitted, so wont replace them then

 

it'll have blue carpets, door cards, parcel shelf if its an edition 1

 

I should have said that it is an edition 1
Am I right to have already swapped some semi crystal rear lights on it back to smoked Hella's

 

yeah half smoked hellas are orig equip....

 

Would that leather gear knob just have the gears on it or a G60 logo

 

just a 5 speed logo like normal...usualy some new uns on ebay

Are you not sure about the rear centre badge being chrome

 

pretty sure mine was worn out chrome when i got it....its painted now

 

back to original thats the way my car is going as my time and money alow it

 

Same here, loving the original golfs on cgti,spent a fortune on mine getting rid of the aftermarket tat.......must keep telling myself it'll be worth it in the end

I am after a single lamp grill for my Mk2 aswell.

Just add it to my list of Mk1 bits I need mate

 

Right .....sourced all the bits I thought I needed, then a VW mate tells me that G60 Ed1's came with FULL smoked back lights not HALF smoked......is that right.....HELP [:^(]
