G60 steels - The Differences !

The mk2 golfs didn't get 15" steel wheels till 1990 ish they had 14" steels up till that point
i would as they where more likely to by corrado wheels to start with as john is saying

 

the ralye was in production around 1988, so possibly there may be some proper 15" MK2 steels produced for it? but then the Corrado was also in production around the same time as the rallye so again could be a case of made for corrado, nicked by the mk2

edit: there is the Golf country 15" steel wheel, but not sure if that counts as a winter wheel as they're chrome plated

 

I never looked at the rallye wheel wise so could be

88 is the change over for a lot of parts mk2 wise a mini face lift if you like
