    I agree

I got mine for 50 with good 195 winter tyres on, so the boneshaker can sit on the drive while its being built and accomodate the 280's that i have fitted.

I think they're the ultimate sleeper statement on the right car. Perfect for playing down lots of power and still looking nice on the eye.

Just picked up a rough set of G60 15" winter steelies, mate has just imported an Edition one G60 (hmmm Aubergine) and they were in the boot .... gave him 40 for them :)

My black rims are fecked and need refurbishing as the Hawk blue race pads have dumped a load of metallic mess on the paint, which only a sandblaster will remove

So, I'm gonna paint the steelies and run on them while the black rims are re-done.

    <waves to Andy947 and Phatty>

Cheers, might still need them as I have managed to get myself some summer only wheels and I may sell my Raddo BBS's.

I put some Passat Steels on my white Mk2 on Saturday, will get the pics up soon. Still can't find the centre caps though.

The centre caps are universaly fitted to all VW models of that time. I ordered my set as a Passat part new from the dealer but picked up a couple of spares from a Scirocco in my local breakers a couple of weeks ago.

I'll check the part numbers when i get home tonight but they look correct from memory.........

I got the part number above from Vortex, there are two caps, one black one silver.

Just checking to see if i've got the right one.

Not sure if we're talking about the same thing but the caps in your photo are the same as the ones that came on the steels on my 89 GTI. Don't see why the ones on 15" steels would be different, especially considering VAG's love of shared parts.

The silver ones sound like they could be the bigger ones which sit flush with the raised section of the steel wheel, more like a hub cap? Not sure which cars they came on but I've seen them on Drivers. Not very nice.

My centre caps are the black ones but cover the nuts as well as the hub, so you dont need those little inserts for the nuts.

They came off of a caddyvan steel wheel. Will check the part numbers later.

They look nice Gary, are these replacing your alloys? On the subject of centre caps I was looking at some info a few weeks back and I noticed that the ETKA lists a centre cap with the VW logo on I have seen them fitted on the continent but not over here, if you have access to the disc they are part number.

There in the corrado steel wheel section, diagram

BTW, a 15" spacesaver spare wheel is now 29.50 + VAT instead of 36 odd + VAT.

    Bargain!!!!

Doh! - Just ordered the 'normal' centre caps

Yup, going to run them as road wheels until something else comes along, the others will be for track use :)
