On the Honda-tech forum there are quite a few who have tried and posted up various trumpet lengths. It is a bit like Vortex with lots of I know better than you cos my text book is bigger kind of stuff but there' some reallt interesting work and real results there.

why i was asking is i'm watching a supercharger on and to get the right system i was going to try megasquiry with bike tb and then make a manifold that sat on the tb to the blower to get acurate fueling.

I don't think there's enough space to have ITB's and a charger. TBH I don't think there'd be much point in ITBs with a charger either, other than to be different. But it would be quite funky :)

centerfual charger so i could have tb cos the charger would sit where the air box sits. just need to make a manifold for the tb's and pipe work.

You might be able to adapt a 2nd hand carb manifold

Do you mean where the standard air box would go? How do you drive the charger then?

    I don't think i'm gonna go for TB's.

It's a lot of money for no gain in my opinion.
And after spending god knows how many on my track car it'll be that loud that i get black flagged at every track day.... errrmmmm.... NO THANKS! [8(]

It won't be that loud, the exhaust is surely louder? I mean loads of standard road cars run throttle bodies.

TB's are LOOOOUUUUDDDDDD

On the majority of cars more in car noise normally comes from the induction side than the exhaust - surprising but true :)

an airbox without flat sides ;) over the trumpets with a remote filter can deaden the noise but not limit power.

TT runs a charger and throttle bodies on his 20v

I don't deny they are loud but look at VHPD Caterfields etc, BMWs, Porsche, ferraris etc. I'm sure many of those drivers fancy a track day jaunt or two.

My standard K-Jet induction noise is much much louder than my exhaust noise.

Tested @ Uni with a several static and fly-by tests with loads of different SPL meters.

After owning a car with AND without ITB's I would certainly never sw*p yours for the total transformation Bill's Jenvey/DTA kit gives you. Why not be nice to someone and see if they can let you drive a nice black car with one of these conversions in it and then your opinion will change.
I sold my car because of problems in my personal life and will never buy and modify another MK2 because the one i had was one of the most complete in the UK and evolved over approx 6 years.
Oh yeah, fitting charges for the kit is zero to someone as clever as you ;) and for under 300 quid Vince will have it mapped and it would be very unlikely to go out of tune within a few months.
