But it's still likley to be breaking the sound regs at most UK track days.... so the car becomes almost un-useable for what i would want it for.

Is that air box on a direct to head set up? depending on trumpet length there isn't a lot of room. The socks were just the easiest thing to get me up and running. I was going to consider an air box when i got the time.
My induction noise was very loud when i had the restrictive Magnex exhaust, my chest was itching when i was stood watching it being mapped on the rollers. Now with the free flowing exhaust the induction noise is no problem but the exhaust is another story. I sorted my problem with a little supertrap silencer for track days.
I agree with Tub though that the worry of getting kicked off track is rather a pain in the arse [:^(]

if you look closely he has removed the slam panel to get more room, but it does look like a short length on that shot, maybe he runs to 9000 revs and needs a shorter length [:s]

I remember in CCC there was a 205 mi16 on bodies and the trumpets and runners came out past the bonnet line and were level with the front of the car lol

Hi lads, pointed here by a VW mate.

I've fitted CBR 900 ITBs to my Integra within the last couple of months ... quite a lot of work.

I paid an expert to do the whole lot and it worked out about the same price as Jenveys overall.

Having said that, bike bodies look better quality than Jenvey ones as designed for higher revs .....

I left the original Honda injector points on the inlet manifold and used the fuel rail on the ITBs as a vacuum feed for both brakes and my DTA ECU - made more sense.

Installed at the same time as a pair of lairy JUN stage 3 camshafts and car went from 170-200BHP @ the wheels but more importantly with real power from 2000 revs.

Can't hear 'em though as the plenum chamber is sealed .... integra inlet manifold is between dash and engine, so it's the best way to get air in ... you can use the OEM airbox.

It is indeed the same Neb ... and all the DC2 forum proves is that there areidiots everywhere who don't know what they're talking about ... at least I'm man enough to admit that:lol:

There are vids here: they are from my mobile so you need Quicktime or realplayer to hear them.

That's me swearing in the first one!

Best bit was no problems with the vacuum supplies due to use of the ITB fuel rail.

Worst bit is that the DTA is ignoring the vacuum for idle speed control and when the car is cold you have to hold the revs up with your foot!
