Help on 20vt Management @ gear box info

    So a two bar boost gauge is what i need! any make that stands out from the rest that i should buy!
    Chris ordered the motec system yesterday!
    have you got adjustable boost so when its wet or icey because 270bhp is going to be a little over the top in the winter!!!:lol:

    na i leave mine at that... if it's too much... just back off the throttle a bit! [:D]

    autometer do some nice gauges!

    wow, i think i'll stick a 10mm orifice plate in just before the boost sensor, then i'll run about 10bar [:s] [xx(]

    Blow through a drinking straw, and you get a flow of air

    now clamp the end shut or restrict it, the pressure(boost) has gone up hasn't it, but have you got any more flow....er no not at all

    Consider this then... boost AND airflow..

    IHI running 27psi boost. Ran that briefly in the Ibiza and by Christ it moved... Was'nt planned to run this high I might add! :lol:

    Gave me some idea's tho... It went like stink!
    Only running 21psi these days when on max on the controller.

    Hi all, I spoke to TSR today just asking hows the motec coming along which they replyed just fine! then the conversation went on to BHP that I will be getting I new that it was going to be around 270 so then I said what will it be at the wheels and neil said 270BHP at the wheels :lol: is that right!!!!!! I thought that would be at the flywheel!! :lol:

    Chris I can't find that video, I really can't wait to get my engine in now! chris what gear box are you using!? well i "was" going to use my 16v one that i've just had rebuilt [:s] I don't think thats a good idea now :lol:
