hit and run 'claimed' stolen car wrote off my golf. where do i stand?

excellent news chaps! the third party insurer have claimed full liability for the accident!
all costs will be paid by themselves, including my excess. I do loose this years bonus yeah though.
Thursday's renual is 500 on a 1.8T mk4 with all mods lisred. Only 100 more than last year. well chuffed!

 

I cant understand you losing a years no claim bonus. This should be reinstated by your insurer as the 3rd party have admitted liability.

 

That does sound wrong, if no claim was made on your policy then your bonus shouldn't be affected.

 

Just rang back. Last years NCB has been awarded! Excess may take some time though. It took three months to the day to settle. And a pay out within three weeks.
Considering the complexity of the claim, i think thats reasonable
