My GT4 I had was probably rated at the 6 - 6.5 sec mark, and that had 255hp as standard.

7 dead hahahahahahahahahahahaha and that was a no mercy run.

6.5 to 60? my money says he timed it on a watch, got to 60 and didnt fully count how many 5 second segments he want past.

there was a guy on here not long ago that was sure he got 14.2s quarter in a standard 8v too haha

a clio 172 is about 6.5 seconds to 60 - but that weighs roughly half of a mk3 golf.... so how much power would you have to get a mk3 8v to do the same time?? lol

no, ive mucked about with a couple on the roads round here, even with my old suspension, it would hang out the back of a 197 easy

then at the ring, i was stunned that there wasnt much in it in a straight line and in the bents even a mk3 would stick to the back of one a 197

    BACK ON TOPIC!

idle switch is on top of throttle body?

Will check the timing when i have access to a light gun.

The car was recently servcied with new dizzy cap etc, although it may have been set up by someone without knowledge of the digifant engine, and possible was not set up at 2k rpm.

Just done a couple of things, was under the bonnet with the engine running, noticed an audible hissing, traced it to this - http://img380.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc01002rw0.jpg

There are 2 nipples on the underneath of this 'thing', one smaller than the other, the smaller one had snapped off and the larger one had no tube on it. I plugged both with a screw and my idle problems have vanished, no more pulsing!

Is it bad having these nipples plugged? and what should actually be covering them?

Also, i noticed that this - http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc01001bu3.jpg - was missing an electrical connection and a hose running to it, it's just there serving no purpose, whats it for?

    Thanks, Dan.
