I think because of the calipers, you might only be limited to a 16" wheel !

I'm not 100% sure though. Morjen on here with the blue mk2 has Porsche calipers fitted, and he is limited to 16's.

Maybe sell these calipers and buy a set of G60 calipers.

That way you can fit the RM's on.

What about if I keep the d90 but reduce the size of the spacers. It would bring the wheel in so it won't rub..

I would think long and hard before downgrading the brakes it must have a Cupra/Focus master cylinder on it and that will have to be downgraded too to work with 54mm G60/16V calipers.

Yeah, you'll never get RM's to fit over those. It'll have to be 16's :(

Them spacers are not going to give any problems, hubcentric and good bit of beef on them would leave them as they are as the wheels sit well on the car
I would even space the rears out another wee bit from the pic's I seen of them on the car ;)
Would not downgrade your brakes :thumbd:
I ran BBS RZ 15" on my 1.8t and were ok, But once I went to 16" wheels Borbets & volks car was so mucher nicer ..felt better on the road ;)

    The 16" borbets

I really dont like the spacers.. my rear ones are battering my stub axle..and put unnecessary pressure on bearings had hubs apart ect.. plus they dont feel very secure. only 4 small bolts that are securing the spacer to the hub and one of the bolts holding the wheel to the spacer keeps slipping...

i would like to keep the D90 just need to work around the rubbing and making them bullet proof secure..

I shall get some photos up at a later date..

Its not mad, its not ideal but not mad! My track mk2 runs 8x15 et12 Ets Betas with 195/50 toyos, is low, has cut/clean arches and has no issues whatsoever!
