Had to let them go this year. I hadn't decided to go with them, yet they still decided to go ahead and take payments off me without authorisation. They said that because they had notified me that they could do it. When I looked into it they had broken the credit agreement as I had only authorised them to take money thwe previous year.
With this I turned to Adrian Flux. Yeah, they beat HIC, BUT.......I had to tell them about all the cosmetic mods, which, unlike HIC, you have to pay for.

I'll be back with Hic next year and I'm still with them for my Bug. 0 no claims and only 95 a year :p

HIC insured me for 1 month on a mk2 which no other company would do and their prices are pretty good. There is no an insurance company that has EVER existed who make it easy to claim. But how many of us take out insurance just to be legal, if you know what I mean. IT IS legalised and legislated robbery, don't ever forget.... [:x]

    Whats the number for HIC?

Im pretty sure I tried them but they said you need 1 yrs private NCB before theyll talk to you.

Currently pay 780FC with Egg but no mods...which technically I have alreay broken (though they probably wouldn't know). So Id like to give them a call

You're more than happy when they give you a quote.

But I can honestly say that I will be paying more money in future to an insurance company who can actually give me service.
