    Hi ,

Has any one fitted bigger injectors to the OEM abf manifold ? Rail to accept the injectors ?

I believe you can use modded Nissan Primera injectors and I'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm

Nissan JECS SR20DE and DET side feed ones do work but you have to fabricate a top cover for the plastic fuel rail housing. Does not look pretty, but does work.

apparently if you split the ABF fuel rail and leave the bottom half attached to the inlet bog std bosch type injectors will then fit into it, this came from a mate of mine who was playing with cossie management, lancia dizzy and pug iirc throttle body on his turbo RE2000 16v a while ago

would need to make a bracket to hold the injectors in, plus not sure if the oem rail would reach to the injectors. he had chopped his and welded on a 1.8t inlet see

Do you have pictures of it. Would have thought the space under the curve makes using EV series injectors and a 1.8T fuel rail difficult.

Easy solution of KR/PL/9A application. But on an ABF manifold it is a bit different.

But what about larger injectors or solutions to the ABF/ADL inlet manifold?

KR/PL/9A engines are already catered for?

A link here starts to describe what is involved to covert to EV style injectors ( more options with this injector) and a 1.8T or BBM fuel rail. Seem to invovle some sort of insert to fit the injectors deep into the injector hole for seal and to increase clearance for the rail.

The 1.8T rail was not shown fitted or working in the first pictures.

Just inferred that it will fit with the EV1 injectors.
EV1 injectors with some sort of insert from the link.

Another picture with the 1.8T rail with AFPR and EV series injectors from the same manifold.

toyo as i said earlier, a mate got this to work by splitting the abf injector rail in half, then apparently bog std Bosch injectors fitted straight into the lower half of the abf fuel rail :)

he said then the issue was just to make up a bracket to hold the injectors and rail firmly to the inlet, iirc he used a 1.8t fuel rail with that combo? i could ask him if you're interested. he wanted me to talk to you about getting his car tuned up with megasquirt anyway :)

i think hes binned it all off now and done it the normal way, 1.8t manifold welded to 16v bottom bit, but will ask him again about the abf rail thingy

    Thanx Chaps..

I wonder if the ADY inserts will fit snug into the ABF lower mani , in any case - inserts wont be an issue to make up ..

yeah he confirmed at one time was using lower half of abf rail to fit strd bosch injectors, but its all been swapped with other gear now. he is actually on omex injection if you know much about that?
