Any device should be fine , if its got a SiRFstarIII chipset or better it will work well. thats what i am using

thanks, whats the sampling rate 1, 5 or 10hz?

i'd love a 4 but can't justify the cost of one, sticking with a 3G for now with an external sensor

 

I updated my iPhone to the latest version of the OS, so just waiting for the untethered Jailbreak to be released for it before i can set mine up again for video recording with the external gps. I just had any old generic BT GPS Receiver. I got it free from a colleague at work. Its pretty much unbranded, dont even know which GPS chip it has.

 

Cool i ended up using my iphone 3GS and just enabled HD video recording and its quite good

Enough with the Renault jokes. Its the best car ive ever owned. Yes, even better than the Mk5 GTI. Cant you tell, ive had it more than 6 months!!!
