Is there a windage tray that fits a 16v

    If ChrisP reads this thread- do me a favour old bean & post up those pics on my baffled sump & windage tray you took last week- when we had the sump off & I forgot my camera coz I am a bell end! :lol:

    My windage tray is some work of art, no idea where its from or who it was made by, but its top banana work (maybe a VW motorsport item- if such a thing exists, from when they raced the Mk2 16v as new?)

    It really is too good to be locked away in the oily recesses of my engine :lol: So I do occasionally 'do' bling if its well hidden away! ;)


    The baffled sump has nicely welded in baffles, but does have some pretty trick looking double trapdoor malarky.

    Interesting, so what are the advantages of using the deisel windage tray? mine has the standard large plastic guard that fits onto the pickup at the moment...
