Jerking / Kangarooing holding back @ high rpm - 1.8T

Should of been 16, but my current one is only showing 15 rollers in-between.

The inlet cam is the one which is one out, so once I have the AUM tensioner out, and the non VVT one (AGU) in its place, I can fit it all back up and time it up correctly

 

It's now sorted and running perfectly guys

All timed up correctly, AGU tensioner fitted and no fault codes relating to the cam position sensor

Took it out for a quick blast and its running great. All ready for the London meet on Sunday

No problems to report.



I'm so glad I got to the bottom of the problem. I think I'm going to swap the intank pump anyway seen as I've bought a new one.

Just needs a remap now and I'll be happy

in future purchase vagcom then you would be able to diagnose the fault a lot faster

 

My VCDS 12.12 & cable turned up today. Going to give it a go tomorrow.
