Jetta front ends....

I like my Jetta front end........ but then it is on a Jetta!

Golf look good with round lights or rallye lights but not jetta lights
Jettas look good with jetta or rallye lights but not round lights

 

That depends on the jetta you have - mine has single rounds, and looks far better like that than in any other format

 

I had a Jetta front end on my old Mk2, looked good IMO cos it was a black car and suited it with the rims (RH Cups)!!


Its suits certain cars, IMO not for everyone (obviously)!! But as said time and again "Its your car at the end of the day do what you like to it", if you want opinions by all means ask but the end decision is down to you!!

 

this annoys me to this day, when rich git first came on here, i loved his car and i stuck up for it all the time when people slated it and told him to paint it black, but the moment he put his 20v t in the everybody liked it... grrr!

and on te subject or jetta golf front ends

im not a fan of jetta lights on the golf, i own a jetta and i think as andy dose the jetta lights look wrong on the golf i think its because the golf is a hatch and for some reason it just doesnt suit it

i also think golf lights on a jetta dont suit so well can make hem look like a wanna be bmw or something

i gave up my jetta lights for the far supirior rally lights, not only do they look beter (imo) but there give out ten times the light have a proper projector so not blinding anyone while driving are about the easiest thing ive ever seen to adjust and you can tell the quality is super good

also if i decide to drive in europ one twist of the light pod and i have left hand drive legal lights

they beat the pants off any other mk2 light setup available (apart from maybe them well post jettalights steph has....)

badgeless looks good too on a jetta but then again i say ON a jetta

 

im not a fan myself all i will say is a 4 lamp round setup on a jetta looks great !

Fing is tho. you look at that jetta and you think you looking at a golf. I tell you its the truth of the matter.

I get people saying are they rallye lights.

single lamp and grill on a jetta is cool, I liked lloyd's old syncro.

 

Jetta lights don't even look good on jettas imo.
i wouldn't mind a set of rallye lamps though!!
