got some stuff off SteveG60cab, works wonders, he'll be cringing when he hears about autosol and autoglym, though it worked on mine a treat, lifted some nasty water marks.

I use the Halfrauds own wheel cleaner and that works a treat - also if I can be bothered they also do some stuff that you put on the wheels after to polish them...

Since i stripped the lacquer off my le castellets I haen't polished them once! just a rinse down with car shampoo and water once a week/fortnight and they come up like new, no corrosion on them at all!

must be because they are forged alloy?

Corrosion isn't a problem for me brake dust is! Not so bad when its dry but when its wet the brake dust mixes with the water and once its dried its hard to take of and tarnishes the metal slightly :(

never had a problem with brake dust. just wash it off when your wheels are black.

as long as you get rid of it regularly you shouldn't have any bother.

most wheel damage and corrosion is down to pure laziness and bad driving/parking[sexist]hence why cars driven by women always have scabby wheels[/sexist] ;) :p [:D]
