Yeah there is a thread on here somewhere of my change.

Didn't do any internal work, just stuck all the KR bits on and went from there. TBH Im going to be well happy with the performance for a while, seems to be the perfect balance of grip and power at the moment.

I'd think twice about going out with him if I were you ;)

He's actually a pretty good driver, even on cut down springs

    Inspires the confidence.

Nah would be good to get a feel for the pair really - Been seeing a few Mk2's popping up around this way which is strange because when I bought mine there were none!

Looking good - How much did the engine set you back in the end? Did you use the KR bits for ease of installation? And what gearbox did you use? I would presume the 2y that was already in there.

Southend meet sounds good - Would love to say I could get there this saturday - But going round the missus as she wants to look at furniture for new place.

Might have found somewhere with a garage so going to have a look next weekend :)

Then I have to work 5-10pm its all in the goodness of the Rebuild though :)

Managed to get the engine and gearbox off a mate for 150, sold all the bits I didn't need, so the conversion actually ended up costing about 20 in the end. So can't really complain about that.lol

Cheers fella - Going on a look round tomorrow - Got some parts today as well that are going on ebay to put some more funds away.

Got a new exhaust going on tomorrow as well and Also viewing a potential Flat in Shoebury with garage!

On the look out for a 9a bottom now - Think its probably best for me at the moment.

Did you get down southend yesterday then?

Lol yeah I went out with g-pes in his furious abf and we met Matt82 and a bloke called bradley in a civic type r. If the Pes wasn't 3 up the civic would've been beaten quite convincingly. How scary is that!

And if the gearbox selectors weren't so sketchy ha ha.

Lindvale's parts dept (esp Fudgie [:*:] ) are a legend.

However, customer service in any other dept there is utter cr@p [8(] and I would never trust them with my cars again :)
