208 miles each way in a Corrado VR6 for 18 months... Killed me financially but at the time I couldn't care less. [:^(] It'll ruin your car simply because you won't have the time to look after it properly, I'd go buy a diesel Passat/Golf myself that I didn't mind the front looking like it had been machine gunned (stonechipped) etc. and put anything I cared about in the garage.

18 months, kinda got a bit hard when I got stopped for doing 110 on the M1. It'll work if you're prepared to make the sacrifices you have to, it'll cost you as B'locks and I said in petrol if nothing else, 500 plus miles a week even a few years back was crippling, then the one week you say you can't afford it and get hassle at the other end of the phone... [:^(] Still friends and she realises now how that sort of stuff hurt when you were doing your best to find enough money just to get there and back. [:^(]
Long distance relationships very, very very rarely work out, that's a fact. I've been in one and i know what a strain it can put on the relationship. Sorry but that's fact, I aint gonna make up bullsh1t.
Im willing to put as much in as it takes and the money aint a problem....... she is more than worth it The only downside as i see it as you aint always gonna be around when your other half needs you, by that i mean in person. Always being on the end of a phone aint always enough........
