It's going to be poop isn't it?

I've heard a few "new songs" at various gigs I've been to and really didnt' enjoy them... and the "ballad" from this album is just pathetic.

Such a shame... But, I will reserve my judgement.

    Any thoughts?

I hated St anger to start with.
Then I realised it was about an attitude, not a progression from the last album.
Looking forwards to t' next album.

I'm going to change my thoughts after downloading the two new songs on itunes and listening to them a few times.

I don't "hate" them. I just wasn't expecting them. My Apocalypse... it's actually proper thrash again!

It all went downhill after Garage Days...

no, honestly. The only album I've not liked was Load. (which was a "load" of poo)

Can't wait. But as usual I may "listen to the album 'round my mates place" before buying it.;)

load and reload are good albums!

but if you have to pick one pre-load, then ride the lightning is probably the best album, then either the black album or justice for all.

    favourite tallica track?

Creeping Death has always been my favourite, closely followed by Seek and Destroy.

One. nuff said. That or Master of Puppets usually fight for my top metallica spot:clap:

I'm with Madmonkey... I saw them in ooooh 94? at the NEC and they had just released Load. They rocked peak for me then. Must admit St Anger started to grow on me though;)

Hehe yeah the 12 minute video to One or however long it was, with all the speech was awesome! I remember taping it off MTV back then haha!

When you saw them in manchester Mad, did they fake an explosion and do the remainder of the set with one tiny lamp? A guy fell from the lighting rig on fire? [:*:]
