Listening to the leaked copy (yes I will buy the CD!) it is fookin bang on drifted away during the 90's after Black - this is so back to the good days it's untrue - even lars biscuit tin drum is back where it belongs (binned!) St Anger is dead LONG LIVE DEATH MAGNETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah I downloaded it and listened to it last night - but I wont be buying it though! the lyrics were appalling (see: "what doesn't kill ya makes ya more strong") - but I guess that we were all young when we first started listening to them so we are used to the old lyrics now.. maybe it's a grower
Must say I too was highly dissapointed with "what doesn't kill ya makes ya more strong" What was James thinking?? I guess it's something to do with aiming at the "youf" of today? I'm starting to get so sick of 'dis' ans 'dat'... On a lighter note, the album did not displease me as a whole, I quite enjoyed it at times
Well i got it a couple of days ago and am most impressed with it, seams like they're back on track. I shall be purchasing a physical copy, otherwise my cd collection will have a gap in it.
I have the album, just to let you know, it's actually a great album! The promotional songs sucked, but you gotta hear the rest of it! Don't judge a book by its cover methinks.
