Just 're-discovering' all my old albums, not listened to them in a long time. Fantastic.

Always thought the black album would be the best possible elevator music

Mastodon & Metallica yey, the other two not keen, gotta be Master or Black album 4 me, production (namely drum sound) on st. anger sucks just hope they kept Lars off the mixing desk 4 the new one.

A post to reflect my name!!!

They are amazing, time to listen to them whilst at work, on my own. Nobody in so no headphones required.

Fave album is ride the lightning. But then again depends on the mood really.

Others to listen to are bullet, trivium, if you want someything a little more old skool (read not that old) can i suggest 'machine head - through the ashes of empires'.

    Rock on!!

Well Machines heads new album 'The Blackening' is also awesome, but the best metal album ever (in my opinion) is 'Vulgar display of power' by Pantera (RIP Dimebag).

I'm glad to see I'm not the only metal head in a GTI!

    Metallica f*ck yeah!:)

S&M is my fave at the mo, but as moods change so does my album choice.

(Pantera's - Cemetry Gates - very very good)

metallica did possibly the best performance from what ive seen of the live earth coverage

loadsa bands singers were wayyy out of key but mr hetfield was spot on

you don't normally get a good musician who sings out of tune, ear training and all that

they were ok-ish.. ive seen metallica a few times are they are normally much much better... then again i thin kit was also down to **** sound engineering when they were on...

foo fighters really did steal the show...

metallica at reading festival (04 or 05 i think) they were unreal!
