Do they work better as a pair ? They look loads better than poly mounts

Just seen this thread. We developed these mounts in the 80's with Jim Morgan of JTM Services Fernhurst. We used from memory an Escort van leaf spring bush , had to buy loads at a time to get a working price , then they dried up and something else used.
Jim was a great engineer and had worked at Gartrac on the World Cup Escorts , also built the original GT40's and worked at Alan Mann Racing.
He also designed the Cavan Vee chassis in the 80's that won 3x FV championships and over 30 race wins , in the early 2000's the TTM Vee which was a composite monocoque and transformed Vee handling and traction , unfortunately those miserable buggers at the 750 MC got together and banned further chassis being raced.

Jim had no legs but had all the determination of a Douglas Bader. Sadly no longer with us.

By the way I've a feeling we paid for the tooling for these mounts!!.........however if someones keeping them available and hopefully turning a shilling.........then good luck!

Bought mine from you / Jim some tenish years ago ... and together with your other suggested mods ended up with a superb / reliable Mk1 set up

Jim and his team were a superb bunch of guys, I shared their company and their tea on several occasions

If there's demand, I'm sure HRP will entertain.

    New thread, new list?

With any uprated engine mounts, there is always a play off with NVH.

The Bugpack Mk1 rear gearbox mount poly bushes were very noisy.

I have front and rear mounts and find them fantastic cannot say that the NVH has increased that much? mind you running solid alloy top and rack mounts on the road :)

Is there going to be another group buy for front mounts?
I have messasged Mr Hillclimber about a rear one.
The link to JMR about a front mount goes to nothing.......
But if Mr HC were to be making some I would gladly buy the pair from him......
